1. Don’t Ignore Small Issues

To do this, first you want to turn off all the water in your home, and watch the meter to see if it begins to change. If it does, then likely you have a fast-moving leak. If it doesn’t change right away, wait a couple hours and check again. If it has changed, even though the water is shut off, then you may have a leak.
